806s could have 1 of two pumps. the early ones, at least partway into "65, originally came with the IH made model RD pump. The later ones used the Roosamaster model DB. many early tractors were changed over to the roosamaster.
the RD pump has a valve on the underside of the fuel supply pump (back end of injection pump) that has to be opened while bleeding the filters, then closed to run. the roosamaster has both fuel filters before the supply pump, which then feeds directly to the IP. so just crack the two vent screws, close when the bubbles stop, and start "er up.
if you had water go through the IP, that is a bad thing. others can address that.
