The Touch-Control hydraulic system is an open center system. When the hydraulic valves are in the open or non-movement position, the oil is circulated by the pump thru the valves back to the tank. When you operate a valve, the oil is pumped to the cylinder. When the cylinder reaches the end of the stroke, the oil has to bypass thru a relief valve. When hydraulic oil is dumped or unloaded across a pressure orifice (relief valve) or a restricted port, heat is generated. Since you said the valves are open and the oil gets hot after 2 hours of operation, I believe that the system has a continous blockage which eventually stops the flow of oil after the control valves. Check the return lines to the tank and the hydraulic filter. Check the internal components of the valves as a slight movement of the spool will cause this condition. As the oil temperature increases, the hydraulic system will do strange things. Good luck. Ray
