You should have a drain plug in the bottom of the carb. Turn your gas off, pull that drain plug then catch the gas with a coffee can etc. You should get a good steady flow of gas there. If you do not then you have a sticking float and you might be able to free it up by tapping on the side of the carb with a screw driver handle etc. . If you have a good flow there but no start try holding your hand over the air intake area of the carb and hit the starter button and see if it starts. BE 100% sure it is out of gear and check that 3 time. You should feel a good suction there when you do that. If you don't then sounds like the shop did some thing wrong
