Well it is British, built in Bradford , Yorkshire I believe between 1956 and 1961. ( The "B" in it's name stands for Britain) The engine was The 30 HP 4 cylinder diesel model BD-144 that was also used in B275, 276, 354, 2300A Industrials As Well As The TD-5 Crawler and 500 Crawler. Unlike a Fergy 35 it won't have draught control because when the B.250 was built M-F still held the patent for that, but as a straight pulling tractor one in good condition will definitely out- pull a Fergy 35!(The B.250 had a very strong engine ) It will also have the glowpug start which can be a pain in very cold winters.
The Operators Manual and Service Manual for this tractor are still available in The UK from a very good website which I can thoroughly recommend.
