Farmall 140 Gear Oil Leak

I recently purchased a 140 and am thrilled to have this tractor. There's a gear oil leak coming from directly beneath the seat. I add gear oil to two locations (one near the gear shift and the other above the rear PTO shaft). The oil drips constantly during use and eventually stops after shutdown. Can I manage this leak simply by adding gear oil ? Are there any suggestions for this drip? Thanks,
