on the 340 utility tractor serial# tag, I have the numbers followed by P - X
P = independent power take off
x = high speed low and reverse
Guess I never gave this much thought, but why would you want high speed low and reverse? I can't compare this to a 340 without high speed low/reverse, but I would think it would be of little difference with or without. I do not have torque amplifier, just the 5 speed trans. Is it just a size difference in the gears that would have been a option, to give you high speed low and reverse?
