I recently purchased a Farmall 560. After doing all the routine maintenance, I took it out in the field for a well deserved ride. About 5 minutes into the ride, the tractor quit. It flat out died. It started a couple of times, but died out. I found out that there was no fuel getting to the carburetor. Then, I found that no fuel was even getting to the sediment bowl. I took the bowl off out in the field and took it to the barn for examination and cleaning. As I poked around, I saw two green eyes sticking out of the small T-valve at the top of the sediment bowl. As I cleaned the dirt out of the valve, out came what I refer to as a "petrified Japanese bettle." Yep, the dead beetle and the related dirt had blocked the fuel line. After finishing the cleaning job, I reinstalled the bowl, added gasoline, and off we went!
