I had problems with my F504 binding in gear when stopped. I found my linkages were out of adjustment. After I worked with my adjustments and got both clutches set it works fine.
I use my TA more as a split axle than a power booster. Meaning if I'm bush hogging I use it to slow down in rough spots and in turns. Originally they were designed to give a lower gear for heavy draft loads (plow, disk, ect) In normal use we will never put that kind of load on a TA, especially not on a daily basis.
