I started loosening up the rear rim clamps so I can wire brush them and paint them in prep for new rims and tires. The bolts are in really rough shape and the first one I removed required a cheater bar and the bolt snapped. I called the local IH dealer, they looked them up as a 5/8 x 4 1/4 " national course square head bolt at $13.02 each. I think I'd need 12 bolts and after taxes and shipping I'd be paying around $175 for bolts. Anyone know of a less expensive source? Do I really need IH square head bolts or can I just pick up a 5/8 x 4 1/4" hex head bolt from the hardware store? Thanks in advance.
