I'm a little confused. You say your SM already has live hyds. If so why are you looking for a hyd reservior to go under the gas tank? If the tractor already has live hdys then some has added it & is using the belly pump for the reservior. If the belly pup was gutted it should have more than enough capacity for what you're wanting to do.
I do have a "Lift-all" unit on a Stage II SM I would sell. The shaft in it is frozen & I have another unit to replace it with. If you're just wanting it for a reservior it would work. You could pull the guts out & pick upanother qt or two of capacity.
As Wardner said, to mount a fasthitch on a SM will take a lot of work. The SMTA rear end housings has different bosses that were used to mount a FH on that a SM doesn't have. If you find the job a bigger undertaking than you want I'd be interested in the fasthitch as I have a SMTA that I would like to put a FH on. FWIW, my understanding is that the early SMTA rearend housings didn't have the correct bosses either.

And I think Dad was ready for some automation too. And so it was that we acquired a good, used J. I. Case, wire tie hay baler. In addition to a person to drive th
