The trans on my Super C makes some noise in 3rd and 4th gears. It didn't do it when I first got it a few months ago, but now I can hear a bit of noise in them. I want to flush all the fluids (already did a oil change and tune up, trans and hydraulics next) so I was wondering if I should stick with 80w90 like I use in my other Farmalls, or go with 85w140. I know it leaks a little, but I figure with the 60 some years of wear on the trans maybe a thicker oil would be better? What do you guys think?
