When you remove the trap assy look at the threads for corrosion, by design the stub on top of the threads is supposed to let the water settle in bottom, problem was it corroded the diecast pot metal at the threads, new traps were not that expensive when I quit selling parts in 2007, ask for 370832R91 at dealer for $, we used a lot of them because almost all were overtightened & warp the housing around the bail or wire under the bowl. This is for gas engine.
