.....I saw a posting one time where someone suggested lowering the Lift All by replacing the bolts with threaded rod w/ nuts (one at a time!) and lowering it on the rods by backing off the nuts. Sounds slow, but makes it a one man job. Never had to touch my Lift All on my '53 SM in just about a year of casual playing with the drop bucket. The pump might be a little tired (a few extra rpm's helps that) but the hydraullics on this are unbelievably tight. The roll back that delivered it leaked more than the tractor has. I have not lost a drop. I guess I'll just count my blessings
