A friend of mine bought and brought home a TD9 this week. The serial # is, as near as I can read it: TDCB10140T7C14
He's wanting to know waht year the thing was made. I tried the serial # list here to the side, but it comes up with a late 60s or early 70s date. This is a start on gas/switch to diesel motor. I thought the last gas start models were produced in 56. Anyway, it has a steel gearshift knob like a 43 ot 44 H or M. Any help is appreciated.
