I’m posting this in case there are some of you guys in the East Texas/Northwest Louisiana (Shreveport) area who might want to check this old tractor out. I apologize for the quality of the photo but I had to shoot it from the road with a zoom lens. The tractor is behind a locked gate in an old shed, and looks like it has been there for a long time.
I had thought this is an old 30s model John Deere, but the boys on the JD board sent me here. I have no interest in it myself, other than that I like to see interesting old iron in loving hands.
I have no idea if it is obtainable, or even if it is desirable. At this moment you know as much (or more) about it as I do, other than its location. If anyone is interested in sleuthing it out, e-mail me and I’ll give you directions. It’s about two miles from the Texas-Louisiana border.
