Dave, Assuming yours is a normal SC, the distributor rotor turns clockwise (CW). With this in mind along with the firing order of 1-3-4-2 you would wire the #1 post of dist (2 o'clock) to #1 spark plug closest to the radiator. Going clockwise on the distributor the next post (5 o'clock) gets wired to the #3 plug or the third one back from the radiator. Then the next post on dist. (8 o'clock) to the #4 plug (the one closest to gas tank. The last one would be the 11 o'clock post on dist. to the #2 plug or second one back from radiator. Your coil wire obviously goes into the center post of the dist. cap. Good luckers. FB
