jmducks1, The quintessential SMTA-LP has a longwise tank(as you described) with a mono-valve assembly at the 11:00 position at the rear of the tank (if you are sitting in the seat). This tank set up probably came from Lubbock or San Angelo Texas. Though there were 4 other tank companies scattered through out the Deep South. Pics would be nice to see.
