its right hand thread. Ill try to make this understandable... I took a piece of keystock the same size as the one on the coupling and welded a nut in the middle of one of the sides. Take this "tool" and put it in the coupler, then take an impact gun and remove the coupler. You'll also need to take a long screwdriver to jam the gears so they dont turn when you try to remove the coupler.
then when you go to put it back on, you cant jam the gears (since your turning it the oppostie way) so it just takes a few short bursts with the impact to get it back on. Once you get it back in the tractor it will "torq" itself down.
