The line to sediment bowl is a compression fitting. it is not a good idea to over tighten it, but sometimes it can be helped with a single wrap of teflon tape on the ferrule. (do not get tape in the line! The valve does have a string packing (usually compressed to stone)that can be replaced with teflon valve packing string. (farm stores often have it). Again do not overtighten, and clean out the old! The same procedure can be found at the power richness needle. Jim
