Dick did the noise just recently occur? I have a feeling you will be removing the cover. Justin the tran man, or other BTDTs, will know the answer right off the bat. My speculation is that the front or rear transmission driving shaft bearings are bad. I don't know if the cage can be removed from the front without pulling the lid. In total there are 3 main bearings on the main shaft assembly. Put your feet up and wait for responses during the day.
