Check the screen inside the glass bowl if your not getting a good steam of gas. If you are getting a good steam then check the small screen that is in the carb where the fuel line connects to it, it sounds as if they are clear though by what you have said. If the float is stuck, which if your getting a steam of gas coming out the throat of the carb it might be very possible. If the float is stuck you can not hear it raddle around when you shake the carb. In any case you need to take the carb back off and check it which is not hard. But while you have it off clean the carb again but taking it apart and cleaning buy using a cab cleaner and letting it soak all night. NAPA has a carb cleaner that comes in a gallon can, I let my carb's sit in this cleaner all night then blow them out put in new gaskets if needed, which most time's they are. Minor Carb rebuild kits are not that expensive, part kits with needle valve's in them cost about $25.00, the Major or complete kit is about $65.00 but well worth it in the long run, they have all the needle jets, the screens, gaskets, float in them. I suggust calling Ken Updike at C&G for a complete kit, don't go halfway when rebuilding a carb, just my opinion.
