Bruce, Dick is right! Check those tubes that extend up through the valve cover. Since you adjusted the valves you might not have gotten those primer tubes and cups tight. therefore you are probably not getting enough vacuum draw up through your intake, instead it's sucking air through these tubes. I had this problem on my F-20. Good luck.
