Hey "The Red", I got to chasing it down, looking for the solonoid like you said and I found it mounted on the side of the dashboard shroud but while I was there I noticed a small lever pushing a button on the back of the key switch. This lever was attatched to the blades on-off lever...turns out it was a safety switch...I had left the blade lever in the on position after taking the deck off. soon as I pulled back on the lever it turned over!!! Boy, do I feel like an IDIOT. If you hadn't had me looking for the solonoid I might not have caught it for a long time!! Thanks for the responses guys, youre a great resourse!!
