Thank you all for your help! I have fixed the problem. I took the battery to Advance Auto, and they tested it. The man said that the battery was so weak it wouldn't even print out the ticket! The fellow also said that the battery looked to be about 6 years old. I guess I got the good out of that one! So, I popped the new battery in, and the tractor fired right up. It just surprised me that a battery could go from giving fine power to dead in under 24 hours of normal-temperature weather. Thanks again for your help, SF
