Well, the further I got into it, the more I found that needed repaired. I found a lead on another F30 not too far away. So, I sold it to a younger guy and his dad that have been looking for an F30 in that condition, and were fine with everything that I showed them was wrong. Got my money back, and turned right around and invested it in another F30 that "was" in running condition.
The previous owner tore down the engine to replace the main bearings, as they were shot. the chassis is still together, just the engine is totally disassembled (wooo hooo!), and I DON'T have to pull the flywheel, he already did it. Already talked to Gordon about getting new main bearings.
So, long story short, I sold it for what I had paid for it, and bought another one. I will be going to go pick it up in the next 2-3 weeks. I made the young man and his dad VERY happy, and I am happy to have another F30 that doesn't require as much work to get running. In both, cases, the tractors will be saved from the scrap man! Will post some picks after I pick it up.
