Hello all, I'm finishing up my restoration of my 1949 H. I bought a reproduction front "nose emblem" from ebay. It is made of aluminum, and looks pretty nice. The issue I'm having is that the emblem has straight sides....it is bent in the center, and each side is straight. The nose of the tractor is rounded, not straight. The emblem fits well right in the center, but since both sides of the emblem are straight and not rounded to follow the contour of the nose, the ends of the emblem are about 3/4" from touching the nose. Somehow, I have to bend some shape into each end of the emblem so it will lay back against the nose correctly. The problem is that the emblem is made from an aluminum "channel" and is quite resistant to being bent or formed. I'm afraid I will kink the top and bottom surfaces if I try to bend or form it backwards to the nose of the tractor. Anyone have any suggestions, or run into this before? Thanks in advance, Jon H.
