Can't say what is in the magic cleaner. It didn't have any major acid warning so it must not be muratic acid. I didn't see/retain the ingrediants so I can't really say what is in it.
I have heard poor reports about the fit and finish of the replacement coolant plates. I don't know who has good or bad ones or anything like that. I do know a guy that got one from a major supplier and the holes didn't line up with the holes in the block. The second one they sent him was close enough he could egg out the holes and make it work.
