Rather than using shut-off valves, most would use something called a "selector valve". It is a three port valve that has one inlet and two outlets. Double selector valves are also available for using on two-way cylinders. Either selector valve is used to disconnect one application and send power to another.
I'd be more inclined to set up an additional hydraulic system running off the front of the crankshaft through the crank hole in bolster or off the IPTO as a second choice.
Perhaps the easiest solution is to take one of the existing three circuits and fit quick disconnects at the hose ends. Run hoses from the new implement to connect with the new disconnects.
