If it was a new clutch did you remove the shipping bolts?? or washers under the fingers??? If there are bolts then there will be three on the pressure plate Look at your old one as there will not be any on the finger side . They will be a 5/16 bolt sticking out of the holes above the springs . Looking up from the bottom they will stick out like a sore thumb. That would give you a false set on the clutch.
