I just bought a 1943 M with new rubber front and rear.converted to 12 volt. had to change oil and filter and install a new sediment bowl,and adjust the carb.it runs perfect.paid $1400,the selling point was it was 10 min. from home.with fuel prices like they are now,you have to consider what it will cost to get it home.
