It's all in the width of the tractor tread and the position the center pull point on the plow. No matter how bad or good the plow is working, running side ways or straight, the tractor should run straight with no side draft on tractor. Moving wheels and adjusting the hitch on a seven bottom plow is no five minute job I found out years ago when a customer was using his brakes to keep the tractor running straight. Tractor should run without even having a hand on the wheel theoretically. Plow is a whole different problem. Setting the tail wheel, correct land slide on rear bottom, gauge wheel, the steering linkage all involved.
