good luck in finding one,and yes a regular manifold will work.the lp manifold has no provision for heat so you all ways have a cold charge of air,but for winter use i dont think it would work good.also the good lp head,s have no provision for crank-case venting.the seat,s are stelite and are real hard, must guy,s wont grind them because it eat,s up there stones real bad.the valves are around 35.00 a-pice from the dealer so go to a after-market valve like manly.watch for water cracks on the shallow side of combostion chamber, and dont cut it more than .050 one side in a water port get,s real thin.have 2 motor,s out there with on and been pulling for years and no problem,s also remember wen compression goes up timing must come back i run around 28 to 32 now.while you have it apart use a dial indicator to find top dead center on no-1 and mark your front balencer so you no exactly were it is.made a aluminum ring and put it on back of balencer and added marks so you no were timing is.used M and W 1/2 stroker and both motor,s make a little over 90 horse-power and if you keep good gas in them they will work forever. (detination will kill a motor) good luck
