just have some belt dressing handy cause most likely will need it. i use the spray on stuff but even the stick form is good. i have even used pancake syrup on the belt. just make sure the belt is square to both tractors and tight. i find it better with two people one on each tractor. the guy on the drive tractor puts belt in motion while guy on driven tractor puts tractor in gear and holds clutch disengaged till belt is rolling and then eases out the clutch.other wise the belt has tendancy to slip and slids off. but this is with an engine with lots of compression or a diesel. you should make out ok with one person.keep your rpm down as slow as it will run also. i can start my W30 by hand this way. just put pto in gear and give the belt pully a flip by hand and away she goes.
