Seems like, way back when on ATIS, someone also said it could be primed through the oil filter base, or something to that effect. Could have just been to like prime the oil passages or something. I know I couldnt get that plug out on my Cub, and I poured oil into the filter base. I pulled mine with the switch off, and in 3rd until my pressure came up. Only took a few seconds.
