The only bad feature about the IH tie-rod cylinder with Siamese ports is they need a $55-$65 repair kit every time they are worked on.
I suppose you may be talking about fully extending the rod and putting it into a press without disassembly. I may consider that procedure after looking at my options. One of those options is to install a new rod and eyelet that I have in stock. The repair kit would have to be ordered.
