Why dont those who dont know just shut up there isnt any plastic in the gov. The gov failure wont stop then start again it just wont have any rpms to speak of but no way would cause engine failure. You need to take the drain plug out of the carb as quick as the engine dies check the flow fow at least 30 sec or so. Then if you have fuel flow you sure know it isnt gas and has to be ignition. I like to clamp a plug to the steering shaft and put a plug wire onit then turn it over with the starter that will twelly quick about fire.
