Leaking hydraulic oil past the O-ring and into the engine??? I just aquired a "well used" 1951 Super C. The ears on the engine oil level checking pet cocks were broken off both petcocks, so the PO must not have checked the oil very often. I finally got them open, and about FIVE QUARTS of oil drained out of the TOP pet cock!! and.....the Hydraulic reservoir was empty, and the hydraulics are dead. Maybe my engine was full of hydraulic oil??
