I've tried in 'implement-ally' but still haven't gotten an answer.
Could anybody tell me the difference between the various IH sickle bar mowers. Mowers of the A-21 variety.
I get that the first letter designates which tractor it fits - A for an A, C for a C.
But what are the numbers?
How do I know if I have a say a 21 or a 28???
I 'believe' the 24 is a heavy duty version of the 21, and you can tell the difference because the 24 has two springs instead of the 21's one spring, but not sure if that's even true.
Is there something specific you can look at, measure, count, whatever, that tells you what exact model you're looking at???
