Got my mags issues resolved thanks to a very nice old timer just up the road from me. He had a device for checking the condenser and tested it for me. Told me it was the issue and sure enough. New condenser and points problem solved, we got spark. I bought a new distributer cap and rotor but had real issues getting cap to sit right....was very loose and didn't sit right...I removed it and new rotor, put old ones back on and she's spits and pops but just won't keep firing. Good spark out of all cylinders. Drained all old gas...thinking about putting in 2nd gear and givin her a pull down the road...
Thanks to everyone for all there help!
By the way, old guy was the best! He said in all his years of fixin tractors never has he seen a bad coil on Farmall mags....very encouraging!
