I have a IH 600 (super WD-9) which I have modified for tractor pulling. I've striped the tractor, using lightened rear wheels and custom front end. I compete with the tractor in 6,00 and up modified classes. The problem I have is the clutch. This tractor came with a over-center hand clutch. This has recently become very troublesome and is requiring adjustment frequently. It has enough holding pressure to hook-up 3rd gear in 7,500 class, but will wander if the tractor is left out of gear. If for some reason the tractor is left running out of gear, it is impossible to get it in gear. I've adjusted and fiddled until I'm blue in the face. I would like to swap the clutch assembly for a foot operated unit. I imagine this can be done......any suggestions? I may consider selling the machine at the end of the season, fixed or not. If anybody is interested, let me know and I can get pictures and details......

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
