Intended IH way was on the brake pedal side up to and including tractor serial # L 504801. Higher serial numbers went on the clutch pedal side. Different boxes were installed or added over the years, so you may find different than above. Above serial 504801 also used a starter and choke pull rod in the same bracket above the clutch pedal on non diesel tractors whether or not is has a hydraulic tank under the gas tank. Should have battery box under seat also.
