Yep, that is what I wanted to do, but could not remove the 3" diameter plug on the end of the steering shaft so didn't order the kit. The cast iron is chipped off around the cast nut that you grab hold of. Anyone ever had this happen and if so, how did you get that rascal out of there? Looked like my only option was to find a replacement plug, and drill some holes in it and bust it out. I'm not fooling with it now as it is all reassembled and will try some of these great suggestions of oil.
