on 12 and 14 series tractors they each have they're own respective serial prefix letters and serial number runs. The O-12, and I-12 are NOT intermingled in the W-12 serial numbers for production.
Fairway 12's did however share their serial number run with O-12's, but the fairway serial prefix was FOS instead of OS. These two shared almost everything on the same chassis.
As far as all tractors starting with 501 thats wrong too, although the vast majority of the models did start at 501 but tere were a fair share that didnt
