Two suggestions: Shut off the fuel at the tank at each shutoff, no matter how short. Check the battery cables to assess their conductivity (check for heat on terminals and along the wires and grounds. Low voltage at the coil when hot can make it not start. Pulling the coil wire when it is not starting, and moving it to about 1/4" from the block, then cranking it to look at the spark can help assess the spark. It should be blue and crisp. If yellow and stringy, or won't jump that gap. it could be either a weak coil. or battery voltage as mentioned above. Another quick check is to pull it with another tractor if it starts immediately, it is a spark issue. Jim
