Just bought a spruced up "A" a few weeks ago. It is painted Red with the Johne Deere paint. Looks good. Guy I bought it from had 12 nice restored tractors of various makes. Said this was the closest match he ever saw for Farmall Red. These are the numbers he gave me...
use on IHC equipment is a John Deere red, manufactured for painting IHC equipment. It is a much better quality paint and is a true match for IHC red. Part no. for quart is Ty6506, and the part number of aerosol is Ty650l.
