I have a 1953 Super C and I just use hyd. fluid I bought at O'riely automotive store. Seems to work just fine and it's sure a lot cleaner than what I drained out of it. I have seen on this site where The Red say's 30w oil will work just fine also. Which might be a good thing if your pump leaks into the crank case at all. If Red say's it, it's got to be true.
