You don't need a water pump on the A. You may need to have the radiator cleaned and flush out the block. It's normal for it to boil some and lose water. You just need to make sure to check the water level often. Of course if you don't want to do that, you will have to get a water pump and convert to pressure radiator. But, I don't think it's worth it.
