Is there any sign that the area in between has been ground away? If so, you are looking at a factory reworked head that was rejected from the assembly line for some defect, then fixed and sold through the dealer parts network. I have one on my 1940 H that was installed in the late 1950's when the dealer converted it to gas from distillate. It is most likely either a 362533R1 or a 364017R1. The first number is the regular SH head and the second number is for the 300/350, and in the 350 application is listed as the propane head. You got me on the L though, I cannot find anything about that, so unless it was a slip of the aforementioned grinder, your guess is as good as mine.
