Most collector/restorer's are in it for the nastalgia. You collect and cherish what has some meaning to you.I have a F20,not the one I started out on but just like it.Same with the Super M. Since there were a lot more Farmall's than IH standards I believe that's why you see more of them. And if you are going to use them you can do a few things with them you can't do with a W series,like cutivate. When I put my SM in the basement garage and had to take off the muffler,aircleeaner,steering wheel and seat I was a wishing it was a W6!! I would like to get a W9 someday,I was awful fond of the one up the road when I was a kid. Everyone said nobody needs a tractor that big back then and that even M's were too big for most farms!
