One is size- it's a lot easier to take a Farmall A to shows than a WD-9. Availability is also a big issue- there are still some folks that have never seen a WD-9. Parts availability is probably more on the Farmall tractors, although the W series isn't bad (with some exceptions). Used parts availability is deifinitly more on the Farmalls in the average location. There is quite a bit of demand building up for the standard tractors- try to find a cheap SUper W-6 LPG tractor! Or a cheap SW6-TA! It can still be done, but not real likely. Still, I don't mind that fewer people seem to enjoy these tractors, means more for me, if I ever get enough money together to buy more.
